Our family purchased the property in the Winter of 2016 after looking for many years for a place to escape to and find peace and relaxation from our hectic lives. We purchased the home from the original family who built the cottage “The Fig” in the 1940’s before building “The Oak” in the 1950’s. They built many wonderful family memories and we wish to continue the tradition by opening our home to family, friends and future guests.
In 2023 our neighbors reached out to us and asked if we would be interested in buying their home and giving it the love and care we did to our others. We were up for the challenge and have been renovating what we are calling “The Olive” for the last year. After many long months of hard work, we are excited it is complete and ready to welcome guests to a fun and eclectic lakeside home.
We are continuously amazed by the beautiful sunrises and sunsets that grace the lake each day. We have purposely created an environment that is peaceful and fun for the entire family. We have three children and understand how important it is to take time as a family and spend moments together.
